Observed a fresh female laying Saturday 8/10/24. Her first attempts touching milkweed produced no eggs, then a couple of empties before she got going. I am raising 6 I collected from common milkweed sprouts in the lawn before mowing and am happy to report finding 2 more on short little stems (6") within my native wildflower bed. Good luck little wild ones!
