Yesterday (8/10/2024)
we reported finding five Monarch Eggs. Today we found a sixth, also on the leaf of a Common Milkweed plant in one of our gardens. Like the previous five, we are putting this one on the leaf of a potted Common Milkweed plant indoors with the hope of protecting it until it eventually grows to become a butterfly.
At the time (~8:20 AM), the air was calm under fair skies with an air temperature of 61°F, a dew point of 56°F, 85% humidity, and air pressure at 28.74 inches.
