Don’t discard a chrysalis with a broken stem they don’t always get infected. I created a chrysalis traction contraption using some extra mesh and floss. I made a pocket put a little slit in the for the chrysalis to hang out the bottom and three out of three times it worked.

Also make a note. The three chrysalis that I put in this contraption were not the first ones to go into chrysalis, but they were the first ones to emerge. my thinking is they naturally thought they were trapped in some type of web, and it sped up the process so they could escape.
