Both adult male from last evening and todays adult female rubythroats are nectaring from red Hamelia again from 1:30 on. 110 right now heat index with air quality and heat advisory.

I found more Red Hamelia pattens which seems to be what they go nectaring from/to first. Just have to water more often so Hamelia blossoms don't flop down in this heat.

Seems to be a slow steady migration one by one. First day of Autumn is September 22, 2024 this year.
