I collected eggs because they are in an area of very small and very few milkweed plants that had been sprayed with pesticides and plants were dying. Will raise and release when emerged. I saw a Monarch fluttering around the area. Down the road north was another Monarch. These are the first Monarchs that I have seen in our rural farming community this season, other than ones that I have raised and released by collecting eggs in same situation, beside a field that is sprayed and ditch is mowed. Very low numbers in my area this season.
