Female Monarch was visiting milkweed. Appeared to be laying eggs. Late afternoon. Milkweed this year was ravaged by rabbits that left only sticks in many of the milkweed in my yard. The remaining milkweed seems to have been affected by the hot humid weather we have had. This was only the second Monarch we have seen this year. The first one was a male we saw yesterday.
