Visiting New Buffalo, Michigan.. Saw three monarchs in different locations near the beach. One flying far out over the Lake Michigan. Is this the generation that is moving south to Mexico? One local bird-watcher resident reported that she had only seen her second monarch of the summer on 8/23/24.
