10;58am. The sun is breaking through after a night of pelting rain and wind gusts to 60 MPH. I was pleased to see a perfect female monarch land on the meadow blazing star to feed. She's been at it for about 45 minutes. The wind is currently 7mph from the west, expected high 80.
