August 1/24 I found a caterpillar on the sand dunes of Long Point Provincial park. I brought it home. A week later, on Aug 8/24 I found 3 more - 2 at Malcolmson park in St. Catharines, and one in my own yard. I have 4 stems of milkweed that appeared for the first time last year. This year, I checked and found one caterpillar on them. In all, I am raising the 4 caterpillars. Two have 'hatched' and I have two more to go, mostly likely tomorrow and the day after
