Another late aappearance of what was probably an immature male getting the last of his ruby plumage on his throat. He is smaller than the other males that showed up in this last month, and seems more accepted by the dozens of females arriving at the feeder each hour. Possibly the "son" of one of these females? All are also nectaring from my fuscia.
