Although we had a late start in our area and the Milkweed seemed to get ahead of them we still had more Monarchs than usual.
We are now seeing 2-3 per day in or gardens nectaring and then dissappear.
We are finding no eggs on the Milkweed going to seed.
We have had a few cool nights 53f!
As I walk the dogs in the fields I see A few Monarchs going to roost or nectaring on Red Clover. The goldenrod is in full bloom and also seeing Purple Asters.
One could say the Migration South has started?
I will keep observations posted
Enjoy!
