Saw two Monarchs emerging in one afternoon. Swamp Milkweed/ Asclepias incarnata next to lobelia syphilitica and coneflower (one emerged on each of the lobelia and coneflower). Several stems of the milkweed had been stripped of leaves.
They remained in the yard for the next two-plus weeks- until 08/25/2024.
