Monarchs nectaring on zinnias today in the garden. Saw seven (7) at one time doing systematic counts. I believe there is both in and out migration going on in the garden today for about the first time this year. I've seen singles and two at a time on at least two occasions prior but today was the first day with confirmed counts over 2. Also saw 6 hummingbirds (again at the same time) over the garden nectaring on both zinnias and feeders.
