3:21 PM 77 degrees, sunny with winds from the South at 16MPH. It's kind of gusty out there but the Monarchs are hanging on. Three Moncarchs feeding on Meadow Blazing Star, New England Aster and Stiff Golden Rod. There has been a Monarch feeding on the front boulevard golden rod for about two hours without ever leaving the patch. The other Monarchs do that thing where they feed a bit and then fly a bit and then go back to feeding.
