9:20am, 57 degrees, sunny and still. This Monarch was feeding on gold colored Cosmos then moved on to this past prime meadow blazing star. The proboscis was going in and out so I assume there was some nectar in the drying flowers. She did this at a couple of flowers on this stalk then moved on to fresher blazing star.
