Had been seeing small Monarch activity in the native pasture this afternoon, so later went out to check for roosting…found 5 Monarchs in the trees in our north grove. Wind was fairly active out of the south and the Monarchs were on the north side out of the breeze. I went back out at sunset and noticed the south wind had calmed down. I looked through the whole grove and yards but could not locate any at all. They may have moved on?
