Found nectaring on Mexican Sunflower blossom in my backyard. 3:15 PM CST,
temp78Funny light breeze.

4 species of milkweed on small yard, Common,Whorled, Butterfly weed, and Swamp Milkweed. All finished blooming.

I plant Mexican sunflowers as they I have noticed both Monarchs and Hummingbirds use them after most other sources are finished. I also have a native species rain garden, with multiple species of native golden rod.
