Monarch PEAK Migration
Sightings report image

Date: 08/18/2024

Number: 150

Our first N winds of the season brought in our first group of migrating monarchs. They caught us by surprise this time, as this is kind of early for actual migration. Usually, they could be found fueling up, in our monitored nectaring fields this time of year.

They left over the lake on N winds, heading to the Door Co. Peninsula in WI
