The photo is the smallest of the three, on A. tuberosa. A larger larva is on A. syriaca, and the third is a 5th instar that had been feeding on A. syriaca that I almost stepped on as it was in the garden pathway moving off to pupate. Placed it in a wildflower bed in the public garden, watched as it traveled thru, then somehow lost sight of it.
