I have seen at least two monarch butterflies this week every day in our milkweed bed. They often circle the whole bed, I call it imprinting the location.
Our pollinator garden has also been busy this year with several types of bees, wasps, and very large mason bees in the spring.
They seem to be migrating along the shore of Lake St. Clair from the north. There used to be more crossing the lake to Point Pelee years ago. Still glad to see monarchs passing through my garden.
