There were 6 or 7 who appeared this morning early for the first time. They had eaten milkweed down to sticks on several plants. There were 3 working on another patch on other side of driveway. This is the only year I have seen these in our yard and we have been here 30 years, with some milkweeds growing for 6 or so years.
