I am reporting for my mother. As we were talking on the phone, she noticed a monarch butterfly flying around her backyard, nectaring on a blooming clematis. She said this is the third day in a row that she has seen a lone monarch on the clematis. 1:00 PM, sunshine, 84 F, light breeze.
