Saw 40+ Monarchs nectaring on Liatris scariosa nieuwlandii. They were difficult to count because of constant movement.
When I first saw them from my back porch, there were fewer Monarchs, but more kept arriving from the east northeast. I did not want to disturb them so did not go out and explore other areas of my yard or take a picture. Did look for a roost near dusk, but did not locate any.
