13 adults, at least most migrant form, Some of each gender, do not always attempt to always determine. Some put outside before fully dry. Today was sunny, warm, low humidity, dried rather quickly and away they went.
perhaps still have ~65 or more. J-forms + larger caterpillars moving to begin pupation probably did not exceed the # eclosures. No eggs or larva found since ~Sep 5/6. About 10 larva, tiny to ~3/8 from eggs collected in September. Rabbits in my immediate neighorhood have and are still having a significant impact on our gardens! Eating not only swamp milkweed (leaving only stubs; new foliage on the stubs is quickly consumed. Mature or larger common milkweed seems ignored by the rabbits, but tender young new plants a few inches high quickly disappear.
Many of the nectar plants are also good rabbit food!
