Brentwood, NH....The last time I saw a female at my feeder was Friday the 13th of September. I have not seen my little buddy Peanut since about August 21, 2024. Hoping nothing happened to him. Maybe he decided to leave a little early this year because the nights have been getting cooler. Peanut has come back to my yard for 2 seasons. He sits on my clothes line attached to my deck where the feeder is and I talk to him out the bathroom window. He will sit on the line and I whistle and chirp to him. He will stay there for quite a while. He stays in the nearby trees and if I whistle for a bit he shows up. He is the cutest little thing. He showed up this Spring on my Dad's Birthday, 5/4/24. Looking forward to seeing him again Next Spring. I will report it when he shows up.
