I was thrilled to see yesterday’s tattered and torn male monarch is still alive. He has been feeding on my butterfly bush flowers consistently this morning. He is moving about in a more normal fashion than yesterday. He seems more alert and is moving from live flower to live flower.

Yesterday, he would land on dried Rose Campion and butterfly bush flowers attempting to feed. His flight is better today too. Yesterday, he was struggling.

I attempted to take the best photograph as close as I could in order that his abdomen was clearly visible for everyone to determine is he is healthy.
