We have only 2 resident Juvenile Ruby throated hummingbirds since last Saturday. However, due to northerly winds since then, 6-8 migrants are arriving on a daily basis. And they prefer flowers to feeders. Our floral section of the garden is at peak now with 400 varieties of blooms. Trees and shrubs are changing colors with cooler nights and shorter days. Weather will change to normal autumn weather this weekend with temperatures dropping to 60s/40s.
