Number: 8

Found 3 new caterpillars today feeding on one common milkweed plant in my front flowerbed. The plant had about 3 leaves left on it and since they could travel to an area where I treat for ants, they were moved to my swamp milkweed potted plants. They appear to be near the size to make a chrysalis. I also had a batch born 9-4-24, most are in the process of jying right now, some already in chrysalis, 9 total. Everybody better hurry, temps will be going down next Monday to 75, from mid to upper 80s and night time temps in low 50s. At least not finding any new eggs!
