Thursday morning, around 9:00 three bald eagles came to visit. Two, one a juvenile, were in our spruce tree. Another adult was flying around. The one with the juvenile stayed with it for about 45 minutes. Then it flew off and the juvenile waited there for about another 15 minutes before it also flew away. When the two were resting in the tree, whenever the other adult came flying past there would be chattering back and forth, otherwise they were silent, just turning their heads and watching. I darkened the sky a little in the photo so that you could see the white head more easily.
