3 adult monarch today 6pm seem darker in colouring, rich thick black lines outlining the deep dark rusty orange... quite spectacular colouring. 2 in back lot forafing on golden rod and asters other in back yard on asters.

2 yesterday sept 19 2024 5pm both in back yard on same asters 5ft high 5 ft wide, together.

one with broken bottom wing sept 18 2024 mid afternoon looks like bird or mantis bite off a segment.
not seen broken wing monarch yesterday or today

today is 11 days here in a row no rain.

now cloud above almost circling slow moving big storms south up to rastern canada rain predicted for tonight. 80° outside, very humid
