Observed monarchs nectaring on Marigolds, Zinnias, New England Asters and Maxmillin sunflower at the Monona Butterfly Garden and Prairie. Light wind out of the south west, sunny, 86 F. We were able to tag 8 of them. This is the first time this year we have seen this many monarchs. We started seeing them a week ago. Only saw 2 monarchs all spring and summer til now.
