11:43am, 71 degrees, overcast with peaks of sun and winds 9mph SSE. It started out cool, windy with light rain. The rain moved out and two monarchs dropped out of the sky at the same time so I assume they were here overnight and waiting the rain out in the trees. One Monarch feed briefly on a new dark burgundy cosmos and then left in a southerly direction. The other Monarch is feeding on meadow blazing star.
