80 degrees F today with brisk north wind at 10 to 20 MPH. Lot's of activity in the garden with both Monarchs and Painted-Lady butterflies. Several "sulfur" butterflies as well and LOT's of bumblebees on the marigold.

Monarchs were nectaring on Zinnias primarily.

Temperatures predicted to drop 10 to 15 degrees overnight with continued north wind for a day or two more. Count this be the last day of the "peak" in this area ??
