1 captive reared female eclosed before 8 am on 9/20 and was released at 3:30 pm.

It was found as a 2nd instar on Asclepias syriaca and was raised on my screened in porch in a mesh container.

2024 Summary:
Raised raised and released 97 Monarch butterflies. Note: My 8/30 reported total was 12 when it should have been 15.

Eggs and larva were collected on Asclepias syriaca, A. sullivantii, or A. incarnata growing in my yard south of in Waverly, IL. They were raised on Asclepias syriaca outside on my screened in porch in mesh cages and released on site.
