3 monarchs nectaring, flying, checking milkweed, and resting in shade trees. They were nectaring on Phyla nodiflora (frog fruit) flowers and blooming milkweed plants. The milkweed is abundant ~ budding, flowering, and newly emerging. This male monarch was sailing around patrolling and sometimes taking a nectar break.
