In photo is the one with an orange tail spread I saw again this morning. 3 sub adult males finally left. Last evening there were 7 rubythroats hanging out in patio area perched in various places. They didn't do the chasing just watching all around until 7 p.m. Ones here as of 8 a.m. mostly go to feeders, Hamelias, purple gurantica.
Didn't think the sub adult male rubythroats would ever leave. The weather is still awfully hot here in 90's with humidity.
They know when to leave by the change in fall shorter daytime light hours.
