Adult nectaring from asters growing in an extremely alkaline environment of the Lordsburg Playa. The site is along a drainage ditch, adjacent to a large pond, in the ROW adjacent to the NM SH338 eastbound exit ramp from I-10. The mid-afternoon was hot, windy, and under full sun.
