Saw 3 this afternoon at about 2:45 pm, checked woods, didn't see any more then about an hour before sunset checked again & monarchs were accumulating. By sundown had seen more than a dozen settling down into black willow on west side of woods andin woods behind the house.



Only picked up a couple of ticks since the big rain in August - compare to 2023 when woods were utterly infested with seed ticks.
