We started seeing the caterpillars leaving the milkweed and begin transforming to the chrysalis stage on Monday, September 16th. As of yesterday, there were 28 chrysalises along the brick wall of the school. The garden was planted last year by my fourth grade class and our pre-K buddies. The garden consists of swamp milkweed and "Ice Ballet" milkweed along with other native perennials
