I had not seen any hummingbirds since 9/18. I I have a Bird Buddy hummingbird camera feeder and it recorded this bird, but I also saw it myself when it came today at 9:20 AM. I am cleaning the feeder and changing the sugar water every three days. I had a female Rufous hummingbird last year in November and December which Sandy Lockerman banded and I will continue to keep my feeder up because I’m told she might return. I also plan to put out my heated feeder later in the season, just in case that happens. Fingers crossed!
