At sunset this evening I counted 26 monarchs looking for roosting places in Arboretum trees. This is the first time this season I saw several clustered on a twig. I apologize for the poor quality photo. Others were in flight or roosting singly or in pairs. 76 degrees calm.
(not - this sighting was accidentally reported as being from Eldora, IA, but it is from Hesston KS)
