Couldn’t get a pix ..A very Close encounter..4’ away..juvenile female at my feeder which has gradually been decreasing in syrup over the last couple of days…haven’t seen a hummer in 3 days…lots of hurricane cloudiness and cool. I thought they all left already. New location for me but have had a good amount of traffic all summer…no quarts a day traffic but probably 1 1/2 cup every 2-3 days…especially after my new plantings came into flower.. put out running water fountains and saw sightseers but no bathing or drinking in my presence or view from house.
