Taken at 5:40 on Saturday evening, Sept. 28th, 2024.

Two monarchs mostly interested in nectaring on white flowers of a large butterfy bush still in bloom. One can be seen in lower left hand corner and the other in the upper right hand corner of the snapshot. Both look healthy and young; bold colors, no frayed wings. Females?

The weather here is partly cloudy, 80°F, humidity is 39, and winds from the north at 10 (–20) mph.
