The last ruby throat seen here was a juvenile female observed on 26 Sept 24. It was a traveler, who'd stayed 3 days. Luckily, it left before the remnants of Hurricane Helene blew through on 27 Sept 24. It was unique in that through injury or deformity the tip of its lower beak was bent downward, creating a 1/16th inch gap between the top & lower beak. The gap didn't seem to impact its ability to drink from the feeder. I wasn't able to capture a photo.
