One lone monarch, looking freshly emerged and under powered flight, sighted along the north shore right along the ledgerock of Lake Superior in front of our cabin near Hovland, MN. Sunny and 70 degrees, light southeast breezes. Side note: sighted hundreds of dragonflies migrating through this same location under same weather conditions on September 2nd. It has been unseasonably warm and dry this month here.
