Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 09/30/2024

Number: 1

Solo immature male ruby-throat has been staying around nectaring at a feeder and perching on top rung of a flower cage and nectaring from purple agastache blossoms. This male is very close to being a mature adult. He was here all day and into the evening. I thought we were done last Wednesday but at least one ruby throat has been around the last several days. Every extra day is a blessing. It's been another fun hummingbird season. I don't think we'll have a hummingbird hang on until October 31 like last year.
