The one pictured emerged in morning and eventually climbed up the brick closer to house overhang. He actually waited out the rain until the following day (9/30) before leaving.
The other was an unexpected one I found on the front porch waiting out the rain. I offered him my finger to make sure he was ok and he climbed on. I talked to him for a while as he fluttered his wings and off he headed after circling a few times, climbing and circling until out of sight. Direction: Southwest
