There were so many monarchs nectaring, skimming over the pool and flying through the yard, that they were impossible to count.

We also have many gulf frittalaries, one which was harassing 2 monarchs on a floweless bush. My husband chased them away multiple times, but they kept returning. When the monarchs finally flew away, the frittalary chased them.
