Unusual year …saw no monarchs in spring or summer. Beautiful healthy milkweed this year, but only the hummingbirds seemed to notice.
However, today, I saw 6 adults nectar feeding in my zinnia garden. Some were female. Hope they lay some eggs before they continue journey south.
Having very warm and dry weather last week and this.
