Newly emerged female monarch. This was a late larvae from about 2 weeks ago.

Odd year for us in this part of SE Ohio. The only larvae I saw and I've only seen 2 monarch butterflies this entire season.

Was sad as we had many great nectar plants and LOTS of milkweed for them.
